Bath Time and Kisses

Miss Paizlee loves her baths. I don't know why, but she hardly ever sits down. She stands almost the entire time. She has a ton of bath toys, but her favorite things to play with are the bath cup we use or her wash rag. We opened these foam letters the other day and she really enjoyed playing with them.

I bought her these little Sesame Street tablets that make the water different colors. I only use them if I am letting Paizlee bath for fun, not to wash her hair or body. And she thinks it is the coolest thing in the world. She really likes the pink water.
Usually after her baths we read books, watch a movie, and just play. And we ask Paizlee for a million kisses. And I absolutely love the way she kisses!

Isn't she precious? I sure think so. And those kisses, they are the best kisses in the world!

Home Sweet Home

Me, Cory and Paizlee moved into our first place together on May 6, 2010. It's a cute little duplex. It is so far from being "nice" and we don't have brand new, expensive furniture. The carpets are a ugly brown color, and the doors are a light wood. I wasn't very excited about decorating this house because I was saving all my nice decorations for when we moved into a house. So, I didn't even really put things on the walls or decorate that much. Well we have to move out in about a month now because out year lease is up. And I am SO sad. I have started to really love my home. This is where Paizlee learned to walk and crawl. We spent our very first Christmas as a family here. We had Paizlee's 1st Birthday party here. We had family get togethers, BBQ's, and sleepovers with cousins. I really love living here. I don't care if its not the newest, biggest, and nicest place. Because it was our home.

I sure hope hope this next month goes by slow. And I hope I will love my next home just as much as I did this home.

Kickin' Back and Watching Movies!

Paizlee LOVES movies. Some of her favorites right now are Despicable Me, Toy Story 1 & 2, The Cat In The Hat, Up!, and Sing Alongs. She knows certain parts of each movie. For example, there is a part in Despicable Me where the Boogy Robots dance, Paizlee will be in her room and hear the music come on and run as fast as she can to the family room and start dancing as hard as she can. It is precious. Sometimes I will fast forward it to that part just so I can see her start getting down. She has some pretty good dance moves :) Anyways, she loves to sit in her swing and kick back while watching her movies. I know she is way too big for her swing. It doesnt actually swing anymore, and it leans more to the right because if she is in her swing when the music comes on she will still "dance". She rocks the swing as hard and fast as she can side to side. But, she loves the swing, so me and Cory decided as long as it is safe for her she can stay in it as long as she wants to. And I will admit, I think she looks pretty comfy in it!
She has her hands behind her head like this 90% of the time when she is relaxing or sleeping. She makes me laugh. When we watch movies I will sometimes lay on the couch and I catch myself staring at her the entire time instead of watching the movie haha. I really cannot get enough of Paizlee!

Picture Day!

I have been such a slacker on this blog. It makes me feel so bad because I want this to be our "journal" so I can print it off and Paizlee can look back and read it. I have also been a slacker with Paizlee's pictures! She hasn't had pictures done since October. So we finally went and got them done on March 13th. Rachel did her pictures, she always does such a good job. Last time I took Paizlee to get her pictures done she wasn't walking yet, so I could just sit her somewhere and get her to smile. This time was a different story. Me and my Grandma met Rachel at the Union Train Station and got Paizlee ready to get some pics done. I set down and she booked it..
She was trying so hard to get away!

She was so funny. I finally just gave up and let her do her thing. And these were the end results of her pictures...

This is Paizlee's face when she is sick of Mom.

I looove her!

I love the way they turned out. I'm happy Paizlee did what she wanted to do in the pics because these pics show her true personality. She is getting so sassy and she is for sure a handful, but she is so much fun. She has so much personality. Her favorite thing to say is "No No". When she gets mad at me or Cory she points her tiny finger at us and yells no no. I'm trying to teach her not to do that but it is so cute. I am so blessed to have her in my life.
